NHS Grampian is the third largest teaching Board in Scotland, with strong links to local Universities. The Board provides tertiary services to the 550,000 people of Grampian and residents of neighbouring NHS Boards, Orkney and Shetland. NHS Grampian employs in arounf 15,000 staff. Acute services are provided principally from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin and are widely regarded as a sector leader in the provision of high quality patient care. During 2014 - 15, our three Community Health Partnerships (CHPs) in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray will evolve into health and social care partnerships in collaboration with the three local authorities.
