Thank you for your taking the time to look at our Head of Professional Development vacancy. The College Development Network (CDN) team is looking to recruit a talented professional who can successfully lead professional development around curriculum, learning, teaching and assessment for the college sector and within the context of CDN’s strategic plan.

You will have leadership experience within an FE environment, with substantial experience of developing curriculum, learning, teaching and assessment strategies. This new role is critical to the work of CDN, and to driving forward our new three-year strategy. As Head of Professional Development you will join the CDN Leadership Team, working closely with the Chief Executive, and other members of the Leadership Team to ensure our sector led vision is implemented and fully meets the needs and expectations of our partners and stakeholders. As part of this role, you will also work closely with our partners and key stakeholders.

As the sector’s key development agency, our services must be aligned to our customers current and future needs. Your leadership, knowledge of the sector and strategic ability will play a key role in ensuring this happens.
