Visualise - CEO

Welcome

Dear applicant,

Thank you very much for your interest in the role of CEO with Visualise Scotland.

Visualise is a relatively small social care provider, based in Edinburgh. We provide bespoke support packages to individuals living with disabilities in Edinburgh and and East Lothian, through our day services, housing support and care at home. We have around 80 employees and support 22 people. Our turnover is around £2.5 million per year and we are almost exclusively funded by local authorities.

Now is an exciting time to join Visualise Scotland. We have recently launched our new strategy, have plans to diversify our income streams and are moving to a new day services premises in early 2023. We have strengthened both the leadership team and board of Trustees in order to develop the organisation and maintain the high-quality support which we are known for.

The CEO role is pivotal to the success of our organisation, building its capacity and working with the management team and board to provide strategic and operational leadership. The ideal candidate will have a track record of strategic and operational leadership in the social care sector, of working within its regulatory framework and a passion for the rights and wellbeing of people with disabilities.

If you wish to discuss the role further please contact Debbie Shields, of Aspen People, in the first instance, but if you would like an informal chat – either over Zoom, phone call or a coffee in Edinburgh – I would be more than happy to do that.

We look forward to receiving your application
