Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the opportunities here at UHI Moray.
We’re based in the ancient cathedral city of Elgin, and very much embedded in our local community in Moray, but we’re also proud to be part of the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), a dynamic and connected partnership made up of 11 colleges and specialist institutions that cover over half the landmass of Scotland.
Moray is a great place to live, to study and to do business, with good transport links east and west to Aberdeen and Inverness. It’s known for its outstanding and varied scenery, from the Cairngorm National Park in the south, to the sandy shores of the Moray Firth in the north. Moray has a distinctive heritage and recreational opportunities and is known for the quality of life that the region offers. It is home to two Ministry of Defence bases, many well-known commercial brands and family businesses, and (currently) 52 malt whisky distilleries.
The mission of UHI Moray is one of transformation: transforming lives, and being at the heart of transformation here in Moray, and in the wider region. Transformation starts with ourselves, and as a college we’ve reviewed our curriculum and implemented a Financial Recovery Plan to ensure sustainability that can support the delivery of high quality learning, teaching and training. We’ve been leading some exciting developments within UHI’s higher education provision, and also within the Moray Growth Deal.
As a member of our Strategic Leadership Team, you’ll be fully engaged in developing and delivering the strategy to take us to where we want to be. What you do, and the way you do it as part of our team, will facilitate the development of our curriculum, teaching, culture, partnerships, and sustainability. It will help make us the college and university that we know we can be.
If this sounds like a challenge and an opportunity that you’d welcome, then we’d love to hear from you.
