It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this microsite and I hope that the content will provide a flavour of what it might be like to join us on our journey of improvement and discovery.

The Scottish Tartans Authority is approaching its 20th anniversary and, in consulting with my fellow Trustees, I can safely say that the pace of change has stepped up significantly in recent years with a renewed commitment to achieve one of our major goals - A National Tartan Centre.

We are looking to recruit a Director to help us build a strong, consistent and sustainable organisation that will stand the test of time. To achieve this we will require the successful candidate to be able to bring along a blend of commercial, operational and leadership experience - this backed up by some highly developed communication skills that will foster partnership and collaboration across a broad stakeholder group.

Above all, we hope to identify someone with the ability to translate our vision into practical actions. In doing so, you will work with and receive strong support from our Board of Trustees.
