35 hours per week, Permanent

Kilmarnock Campus (though travel to all campuses will be required)
£89,442 – £94,584 per annum (exclusive of pay award)

As a member of Ayrshire College’s Executive Leadership Team, the postholder will provide transformational leadership in all aspects of the financial management, infrastructure and identified support services of the College, with responsibility for providing strategic financial leadership and direction to the College. In addition, the postholder will lead the strategic development of the College for finance, data, digital, and estate infrastructures, working closely with ELT colleagues to enable student centred service delivery and effective support functions across the College.

The post holder will also lead a programme of transformation, covering income growth, organisational improvement, and ensuring that the College’s digital and physical infrastructure is fit for future curriculum delivery and delivers on net zero targets. This will include providing expert advice to the Board of Management on finance, sustainability, and risk management

This role will be at the heart of this journey, requiring an ambitious, dynamic, inclusive, and innovative leader, who will lead with integrity and passion, whilst successfully delivering and implementing our progressive strategic aims and objectives.

You will be qualified to first degree level, or equivalent, as well as holding a qualification recognised by the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies, or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. You should have demonstrable knowledge of Scottish Government Education strategy and policy, Scottish Funding Council strategy and funding methodologies, as well as a developed knowledge of the legal frameworks in which the College operates, to ensure compliance with financial governance, college contracts, procurement, and risk management. You must have extensive experience at a senior level of delivering successful Finance, ICT, Business Information and Procurement Services.
