Castle Water is one of the fastest growing utility supply companies in the UK, having just acquired the business customers of Thames Water retail; this has taken group turnover to approaching £500m, supplying water services to business customers across Scotland and England. Castle Water has plans to continue to grow rapidly, together with the necessary market position, financing and resources. The company has formal partnerships with a number of national organisations, as well as web and direct sales channels. They have been a successful innovator at supplying water services to customers in the deregulated water market.

Due to this rapid growth the business now requires an experienced Head of Account Management and Sales.

The position will report to the CEO and take full responsibility for approximately 30 field based Sales staff across the UK. The main focus of the sales staff is B2B account management providing customers with an outstanding service – ensuring that the whole team deliver that promise. Developing a clear sales and account management strategy across the business will be an important part of this role.

You must have a successful track record of a large field based team, with the ability to lead and motivate your team to deliver the highest standards of customer service. Experience gained within a related sector would be a distinct advantage, preferably within a blue chip environment with a turnover responsibility in excess of £100 million.. Experience of managing a budget, attaining and reporting KPIs and planning are essential alongside experience of developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and clients. Excellent communication skills will be essential qualities of this role.

The role is based in Perthshire, but will require regular travel throughout the UK, and combines fantastic access to leisure activities but also being close to the major cities of Scotland.
