In our Business Unit CFM (Composites – Fibers and Materials) we develop tailored and sustainable solutions for the megatrends mobility and energy, covering the entire value chain from raw material to finished component. Our products are mainly used in the automotive, wind energy, and aerospace industries.

Our Muir of Ord site (near Inverness) is one of the largest Carbon Fiber (CF) plants in Europe where we supply high end CF and CF based products to various Global markets that are highly focused on innovation, developing technology and processes for the future. We are currently one of the largest employers in Ross-shire with a long serving, loyal and skilled workforce.

We are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager for our manufacturing facility.

You will be accountable for the maintenance, repair, and all other maintenance activities for all equipment and facilities whilst helping to set the investment strategy within your area of responsibility, ensuring realisation through appropriate planning and supervision.

Your experience will give you the credibility to provide professional advice and support to internal departments concerning technical and engineering issues, and will enable you to spot changes that could be introduced to optimise processes and provide related cost data.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the effectiveness of maintenance activities in accordance with production and quality standards, as well as compliance with internal policies and legal requirements, whilst minimising down time and resolving technical problems. You will also have responsibility for the Maintenance departmental budget (circa £3m GBP) and be responsible for staff recruitment, training and development (within a department of 24 technicians and 9 staff).
