The Independent Living Fund Scotland is a Public Body of the Scottish Government. Their role is to provide a high quality service to, currently, around 4,000 disabled people in Scotland and Northern Ireland, supporting them to achieve positive independent living outcomes, and to have greater choice and control over their lives. Established in July 2015, ILF Scotland is a values driven organisation and now employs around 50 staff members.

They work in partnership with 37 local authorities and health & social care trusts across Scotland and Northern Ireland by jointly funding individually tailored care and support packages. ILF Scotland are now looking for a new IT Security and Business Resilience Manager who’s core function will be to maintain the day to day IT and Information Security of the current operation, ensure resilience against cyber-attacks and disruption of IT services; as well as fully assess the risk landscape and prepare business impact analysis options for new operational models. The post-holder will ensure that ILF Scotland has the appropriate levels of security, access and permissions, education, training and awareness at all levels and work with key stakeholders, internal and external, to implement the emerging digital transformation strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a methodical self-starter with a proven ability to provide leadership and development of an IT and Information security posture of an operation. They will have a successful track record of working and delivering in a fast-paced environment, interrogating complex analytical and management information and preparing comprehensive reports to support robust decision making. An adaptable people person who is happy to take a team based, collaborative approach to work.
