Reporting to the Head of HR (Europe) the HR Business Partner will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and professional HR service to support growth and high performance management across the business. As a key member of the HR team you will have demonstrable skills and experience in all aspects of people management the successful candidate will have a flair for dealing with complex and ambiguous situations in a calm, fair and empowering manner. An ability to build relationships based on trust and credibility is essential.

You will implement the UK HR strategy with the delivery of people plans across the company, coaching and advising staff at all levels. You will enjoy working within a paced and innovative environment, taking ownership of key areas of work, to ensure that Baxters can maintain the skilled, flexible and motivated workforce it needs to ensure the delivery the highest quality product, efficiently.

Principal purpose of the role:

  • To implement the UK HR strategy and deliver business objectives set out by the UK Management Board.
  • Work in partnership with the Management Team to provide professional customer focused HR advice/coaching solutions that support Operations across all workforce issues.
  • Lead, manage and participate in an array of project based assignments and HR initiatives.

CIPD qualified, you will be a proven HR generalist with experience of providing quality professional HR advice to directors, managers and employees.  You will have an excellent understanding of employee relations matters including complex disciplinary and grievance matters with a sound working knowledge of up to date employment legislation and best practice.
