Marie Curie are looking to recruit to the role of Hospice Manager at their hospice in Glasgow providing services for patients and families in the Greater Glasgow area. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic person to lead the team at the Glasgow Hospice. With around 300 staff and volunteers the hospice provides care and support for more than 640 inpatients with a further 760 patients cared for within day care facilities and in their own home each year.

As the Hospice manager you will set the tone, developing a climate consistent with the Charity’s values and passion to deliver more care to patients and families. You will be excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of the hospice whilst ensuring sustained progress in the constant drive to improve the experience of patients, carers and families.

You will be a confident communicator and leader, commercially driven and have a wealth of experience within this environment.  You will have a thorough understanding of the Third Sector, expertise in strategic planning and financial management to allow more patients and families to benefit from funding.

Having a talent for networking, developing and maintaining partnerships internally and externally is also essential in delivering organisational strategy and clinical care.

This is an exciting role, requiring a track record of leadership and delivery in a complex multi-disciplinary environment that requires adaptability/flexibility to focus on strategic, operational, commercial and community engagement opportunities.
