Our client is a leading property and land services group in Cumbria. With over 140 years of successful trading history they provide a broad range of services and an innovative approach that keeps them ahead of the field.

With the upcoming retirement of a Senior member of the existing Land Agency team our client needs to appoint an experienced professional from a Land Agency background to take over existing clients and lead the Land Agency department.

The department is based from its head office at Penrith and operates from a number of regional offices throughout Cumbria.

The business operates with a number of enterprises other than Land Agency, with the main income coming from their successful Residential Estate Agency business, but also has interest across sectors including Survey and Valuation, Sale Room, Lettings and Planning

The Directors have a real ambition to grow the Land Agency Department through the Company’s enviable network of offices serving North Cumbria.

Key aspects of this role moving forward will be:
• Manage existing accounts, split between estate management and professional services;
• Identify potential development opportunities;
• Ensure the team are well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and provision of full support in achieving these.

RICS qualified, the ideal candidate will be a strong leader and team motivator, with the ability to communicate effectively. You will be familiar with all aspects of financial management and reporting.
