With an asset base of over 3,600 homes across 22 of Scotland’s 32 local authority areas, factoring services are also provided to a further 400 homes. The majority of homes are tailored to the over 60’s but an increasing number are homes for all ages. In 2019,  Trust successfully completed a transfer of engagements with Wishaw & District Housing, growing the business by 40% and have plans to deliver 300 new build homes over the next three years.
Trust are looking for a new Head of Assets and Sustainability to join the Leadership Team, who will play a key role in supporting the new Asset Strategy development and implementation.
The role will principally be responsible for leading the asset management service, including reactive repairs, planned & cyclical maintenance, compliance, health & safety and capital investment. Key to the post will be the ability to deliver efficiencies and continuous improvement in all property-related functions whilst contributing to our overall business strategy as part of the Leadership Team.
Degree qualified and a member of a relevant professional body such as RICS, RIBA, RTPI or CIOB, you will have proven experience at a senior or managerial level, leading and inspiring a successful asset or property team.  You will have a strategic understanding and core knowledge of operational delivery of asset management practices and excellent business acumen.  A strategic and innovative thinker, you will be able to translate strategy into operational and project plans possessing excellent performance management, problem-solving and project management techniques.
