A rare opportunity has arisen for an outstanding leader with a strong track record in delivering large-scale community regeneration projects to join us as Group Director of Property and Development.

At Wheatley, we’re all about ‘Making Homes and Lives Better’. We have just embarked on a major affordable house-building programme with plans for around 10,000 new homes in our communities in the next 10 years. A £260million improvement project, which will see thousands of our existing properties modernised, is also under way.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for both the strategic direction and the operational delivery of our regeneration work, and for ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Group’s assets. They will be an innovative and strategic thinker with a natural flair for managing complex relationships in both the public and private sectors.

Extensive experience of leading house-building and investment projects is a must.
The role will involve working closely with all of our Boards in Wheatley. Experience of advising Boards and of inspiring and motivating staff to achieve top results is essential, together with a commitment to working closely with communities.
