Finance and Corporate Services Manager
Wellhouse Housing Association is a values driven community anchor within the greater Easterhouse area, the team strive to deliver the organisations vision – Wellhouse: The place to be. The association provides high quality affordable homes to local residents whilst supporting its communities through a wide range of services and partnerships.
Created in 1994, a tenants steering group successfully secured a stock transfer from Glasgow City Council to a new RSL – Wellhouse, the organisation has grown to provide 798 homes for affordable rent within the Wellhouse area of Glasgow and supports its tenants and community members through a variety of initiatives and services. At the forefront of wider community development and investment, Wellhouse has delivered significant regeneration to the local area, even establishing a physical community hub which also acts as the team’s office and can be used by locals.
Wellhouse is an ambitious organisation with plans to develop new homes in the area and is committed to the creation of a local social enterprise through established partnerships. The association has 4 commercial units in the area which it also lets and manages to generate surplus for further investment in the community and local services.
This is an extremely proud organisation and community who are now looking to recruit a new Finance and Corporate Services Manager.
The position is key to the continued success and growth of Wellhouse HA, holding responsibility for all financial management and wider corporate services which include IT, HR administration, office management, GDPR, FOISA. The new manager will lead the team in delivering excellent services whilst continuously improving and maintaining a culture of high performance.
The appointed candidate will be an effective leader and communicator, able to work closely with the board and SMT ensuring sound financial management and delivery of the corporate services function with a customer focus. You will always act in the best interest of the wellhouse community.
A background in housing is not a pre-requisite for applications.
