Aspen People is an international professional services firm specialising in recruiting individuals into the most senior executive roles. We have a notable track record in delivering essential appointments such as the recent Chief Executive of Scottish Enterprise, and are currently looking a new Chief Executive for Edinburgh College. 

As we continue our exciting journey of growth, this is an excellent opportunity to join our team and play a key role in developing our business further. As an Executive Consultant you will be required to support and grow to lead your own executive search campaigns. You will act as a key point of contact for candidates and clients, supporting them through complex recruitment projects.

This role will be instrumental in taking forward business development initiatives, proactively engaging with current and prospective clients.

We are seeking an ambitious individual with entrepreneurial flair and strong communication skills. Applications are welcome from individuals with recruitment consultant or commercial experience. Although not an essential requirement, the role would suit a graduate with at least two years experience in a commercial/business development function. The ideal candidate will be able to evidence integrity, values and a high level of customer service.

Essential skills and experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, evidenced through strong academic track record or work experience in a professional services environment
• Project and stakeholder management experience
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a portfolio of multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met
• Commercially astute
• Self-motivated, able to take initiative to address complex challenges 
• Proficient in computer usage

The role is based at our Head Office in Glasgow, however, you must be prepared to travel across the country where appropriate.
