Aberlour are Scotland’s children’s charity; we help to transform the lives of children, young people and families across Scotland and we are looking to recruit a Director of Marketing & Fundraising who will join us in our efforts to ensure children have the opportunities and support they deserve.

Aberlour has a rich history of delivering vital services to vulnerable children, young people and their families. Since our inception as an orphanage in Speyside in 1875 and the formal establishment of Aberlour Child Care Trust in 1976, we have developed a significant reputation for delivering the following services: residential care and fostering, dependency, early years, disability and early intervention youth work. We offer support at the earliest opportunity – giving children the best possible start in life is at the heart of everything we do.

Our Director of Marketing & Fundraising is responsible for leading, managing and developing the marketing and fundraising strategies to enhance the profile and reputation of Aberlour, and to increase income through fundraising events, successful trust applications and corporate support. To be eligible for this role you will have significant experience working as a Senior Fundraising Manager or Director, preferably within the voluntary sector, and you will be skilled in developing and delivering multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to inspire others and build effective teams, as well as being a strategic thinker and an excellent communicator.
