Formed from a merger in 2013, Ayrshire College’s aim is to serve the people, communities and employers in Ayrshire.  The College plays a key role in helping to develop the economy in Ayrshire by ensuring that students develop the right skills and positive attitudes to support the local, regional and national workforce needs.

The College’s infrastructure strategy is to enhance student and staff learning and working environments by providing contemporary, efficient, inspiring and sustainable spaces with excellent digital connectivity and ICT.  The role of Director of Infrastructure will play a key role in delivering this for the College.

As Director of Infrastructure, you will be directly responsible for the maintenance and development of the College’s estate infrastructure which incorporates three main campuses and a further two satellite campuses. The role will also have responsibility for the management and support of the College’s ICT infrastructure.

Degree qualified with relevant professional qualifications, the successful candidate will have a good knowledge of Scottish Government policy and strategy on Further Education, Scottish Funding Council’s approach to funding policy and implementation as well as the legal and financial aspects of large scale ICT, estates and capital projects and transactions.   You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership, change management along with financial management and analytical skills.
