Director of Housing and Property Services

Rural Stirling Housing Association (RSHA) have an excellent reputation and an ambitious new build development plan. Having come through a customer focused restructure in 2020 we are now looking to appoint a new Director of Housing and Property Services.
Formed in 1990 by local residents we are a registered social landlord based in Doune, our mission is to provide affordable, quality housing and support community aspirations. With a strong and effective team of 19 people, the organisation serves the communities of rural Stirling, managing 628 homes for affordable rent and has ambitions to develop a further 180 homes over the next 2-3 years. Venachar Ltd is our subsidiary which lets a number of mid market rent properties and delivers various projects. We are a key community anchor committed to the vision of strong and attractive rural communities.
This post has responsibility for all customer facing services including housing services, asset management, development and reactive maintenance. The new Director will look to improve the planning and programming of works for asset investment and will be key in pushing developments forward and maintaining oversight of external consultants and contractors. The role will also be pivotal in developing a customer first culture, improving customer interactions and services throughout the organisation with the help of the team.

The appointed candidate will have a strong technical background with experience of investment and maintenance programmes. They will also hold strong customer values and be able to evidence effective customer service and culture. The new Director will have experience in procurement and excellent project management skills and build strong working relationships with our key stakeholders and partners. Above all you will share our vision and values and be passionate about protecting and investing in our existing homes, building new affordable homes to grow and help sustain our communities and putting the customer at the heart of everything that we do.
