The Director of Assets & Property Services post provides a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who will play a key role in delivering their mission and strategic objectives. You will be passionate about delivering value for money, great customer service and creating great places to live for Tenants. You will play a critical role in business growth and increasing asset value and returns.
SBHA is changing and the Director will play a crucial role in the delivery of change. Leading a large directorate of over 120 technical staff and multi-trade staff, you will have a strong track record on strategic delivery, operational management and service transformation. With an annual budget of £8m for investment in existing homes, a large in-house contractor and an emerging development programme you will be highly driven with the ability to work under pressure.
You will be degree qualified or have equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. Experience of developing and delivering Property Maintenance and Asset Management strategies to meet corporate and service objectives will be essential. You will also be able to demonstrate financial and budgetary control experience with an ability to make effective financial and investment decisions, developing and maintaining a high performance culture and motivating teams. Knowledge of the social housing sector and housing development / maintenance would be essential.
