With over 25 successful years of delivering positive impact for local communities and the economy, Almond Housing Association is searching for its new Director of Asset Management.
Since it was established in 1994 Almond Housing Association has provided a number of services and new affordable homes for local people, operating as a Registered Social Landlord the association owns and manages over 2,500 homes across Livingston and West Lothian. Creating further impact is Almond Enterprise – a subsidiary of Almond Housing Association. The company provides a range of cleaning and environmental services to businesses in the local area, investing surplus back into local community groups and creates employment opportunities.
Almond continues to invest its homes and communities whilst looking at opportunities for new build development and partnership working.
The new Director of Asset Management will be tasked with improving performance and the customer service offering of its repairs and asset management services through innovation and a commitment to excellence. Leading on the investment plan and Asset strategies, the new director will also contribute to the overall business plan and work closely with the leadership team to shape the organisations culture and improve performance across the board. The role is also responsible for health and safety across the entire organisation.
The ideal candidate for the post will bring a progressive and dynamic approach with excellent technical knowledge. The individual will possess strong leadership experience and be competent in developing and delivering strategy and improvement plans, whilst maintaining a focus on customer service. The postholder will have knowledge of implementing and monitoring health, safety and wellbeing standards to ensure compliance across Almond HA.
Experience of working within an RSL (Registered Social Landlords) is not a pre-requisite for this vacancy.
