From a start-up company two years ago, Castle Water is now the UK’s largest independent water retailer. Whilst revenues are forecast to be greater than most FTSE 250 companies, with further significant growth anticipated as deregulation and increased competition takes place in the English marketplace, Castle Water remains true to its roots in Blairgowrie, Perthshire.

The finance function is core to the funding and management of this spectacular growth and has quadrupled in size during the last 7 months with further growth planned.

The Business Partner role has arisen directly as a direct result of the growth in the business and in the funding contracts which are required to support this growth. As a result, we are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals, who embrace and encourage rapid change and challenge the status quo.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Business Partner will support the Operational Director to ensure that the business maximises cash receipts, revenue and is compliant in all business practices. The role will also develop forecasting and budgets for Sales/Profit and cash collection.

The successful candidate will be a highly articulate, qualified or finalist accountant with excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills. You will have experience of producing monthly reporting packs and working within a regulated environment would be desirable.
