Our client is already a key supplier from Cornwall to the major multiples in fresh produce categories. Having built an enviable reputation and a £multimillion business they now wish to build on these strong relationships and establish a significant free range egg operation, within their existing customer base.

Reporting to the Head of Farming you will have full responsibility for the business planning and strategy stages, moving onto the operation to include procurement, construction, and infrastructure through to livestock, nutrition, animal welfare and establishing the business from scratch. Thereafter the role will take full responsibility for the general management of the free range egg business in its entirety including staffing, commercial, P & L and customer service.

You will have experience of the poultry industry preferably gained within a successful free range egg operation together with exposure in all aspects of a growing a successful free range egg business. Together with your proven track record you will have a can do attitude and take a hands on approach in all aspects of the business.
