GEM Workspaces is an Easterhouse based Charity who focus on alleviating unemployment and the relief of poverty. They own the Wright Business Centre, a facility offering high quality office space at a low rate of rent and the Queenslie Workspaces, a local facility offering excellent industrial and workspace locations as well.

Their goal is to help small & independent businesses by providing quality space in which to work from at a favourable cost, offering full support and helping to stimulate the local economy.

They are looking to strengthen their board with a new Trustee from a Financial Background. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Non-Executive Director to join a successful charitable organisation or for a professional, coming from a strong Finance background who is keen to take their first step into a non-executive position.

The role will involve attendance at 6 meetings per year, taking responsibility for the overall governance and strategic direction of GEM Workspaces, developing the organisations aims, objectives and goals in accordance with their articles of association.

This is a great opportunity to work with a small team and to help shape the direction of an already successful charitable organisation.
