At the heart of innovation in one of the UK’s most important, exciting and fast-growing industries, the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult has achieved much since it was formed six years ago, and we have hugely ambitious future plans.

We’ve seen enviable growth in public funding, commercial revenue, headcount and, most importantly, the number of industrial, academic and public sector partners who we collaborate with to deliver impact and UK benefit.

Throughout the UK, we work closely with national, devolved and local governments to deliver economic growth and jobs, seizing the opportunity to lead the world in the move to a zero-carbon economy.

Our new research centre in China is giving British companies an unprecedented opportunity to export their innovative products and services to the fastest growing market in the world.

And we expect to do much, much more in the coming years, expanding our footprint in the UK and internationally, extending our already world-leading asset base and increasing our capabilities to keep us at the forefront of technological innovations for offshore wind, wave and tidal energy.

At the heart of this development lie our people and values. We have an outstanding team, ranging from interns, apprentices and graduates to some of the industry’s leading engineers and researchers. And our values - innovation, collaboration, excellence and integrity - are far more than words on the wall.
