Charity of the Year 2024

At Aspen People partnership is important to us, it’s how we approach our business and it’s how we approach working together as a team.
We have always been active in the third sector space, various charity events and donations over the years and as a business we spoke about doing something more to be really involved in a charity – we wanted to have a meaningful partnership so we decided for 2024 to pick our first Charity of the Year!
To find the right charity we put out a post on LinkedIn asking charities to apply to be our Charity of the Year for 2024 and we got some really amazing charities putting themselves forward. After we had all the applicants the whole team at Aspen voted on what charity they wanted to partner up with.
We were delighted when Amma Birth Companions came up as our preferred choice, it was a close call with a very close top three in the end, but Amma came out on top.
I’m really pleased to get this partnership started and the first thing I’m going to do is the Kiltwalk for Amma and yes I’m doing the long one, it’s coming up in a few weeks time.
So keep your eyes peeled for the whole team’s fund raising events and how we spend our volunteer days with the team at Amma, we’re looking into zipslides, firewalks, office painting and all sorts of things.
We’re all really excited to be working with Maree, Abigail and the team over the next year.
