Thank you for your interest in the post of Chief Executive with Southside Housing Association.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join and lead one of Scotland’s longest established community based housing associations.

The Management Committee at Southside Housing Association is excited about beginning a new chapter in the 50 year history of the Association and we are looking for someone who can provide leadership, accountability and high professional standards to this role.

The Management Committee is a settled, leadership group drawn from the diversity of communities that we serve.  We try and balance the voices of customers and tenants with professional specialism and expertise.

We aim to be supportive to the Chief Executive and the Senior Management Team while providing strategic direction to the organisation.

We are looking for a dynamic, forward looking individual who will continue to build on the many strengths of the Association.

As a consequence of the pandemic, the last couple of years have been very difficult for our customers, staff and contractors and our central aim is to work alongside our communities to deliver excellent service and investment in our tenant’s homes.

As Chair of the Association I am confident in the many strengths of the Association and its staff but also aware of the many opportunities to develop and grow the services we currently offer in our local communities.

We have a big challenge in our investment programme.  We have ambitious plans for digital services but we also want to make sure that we carry all our customers with us on this journey.  A passion for working closely at a neighbourhood level with local people is an essential value for this post.
