About Us

We might be somewhat biased, but we believe that Fife College is a superb place to work. However, you don’t have to just take our word for it – in our last staff survey, 77% of our colleagues said they were proud to work for Fife College.

So what is it that makes us stand out? Two things – People and Purpose. You’ll find that the people who work here care deeply about their jobs, and will be friendly, helpful and willing to see you settle in and thrive in your role. There is a real sense of community, with people proud to work here.

This is linked largely to Purpose – what the College aims to achieve, in putting our students first, and helping them thrive; providing opportunities to all; taking responsibility for wealth building in our communities; working in tandem with local businesses and employers; recognising our responsibilities towards Net Zero. This, and our continuous investment in our team, means people get up in the morning and look forward to coming to work, and go home again at night knowing they’ve done something worthwhile.

This year, we celebrate 125 years of college education in Fife. We’re proud to have contributed to skills, training, qualifications, opportunities and wealth-building in the region since 1899, and as we look to the future, we also want to celebrate the past. If you watch the video on the right, you’ll find out more about why we are proud of who we are.

We’re proud of the fact that 95% of our full-time students progress to either employment or further studies after successfully completing their courses with us – one of the highest positive destination figures in Scotland.

  1. New Campus – In 2025, we will move into our new Dunfermline campus, a superb, purpose-built facility including teaching, training and conference facilities
  2. Business School – Our prestigious Andrew Carnegie Business School offers professional qualifications and training courses in business, management and leadership.
  3. Scholarships – Last year alone, 300 of our students benefited from our Adam Smith Scholarship awards.
  4. Modern Apprenticeships – We offer the one of the most comprehensive Modern Apprenticeship programmes across the Scottish college network.
  5. Student Satisfaction – 94% of our students enjoyed their time with us so much that they said they would recommend us to others.
  6. Progression Routes – We have over 550 progression routes in place with university partners.

Our five campuses sit at the heart of the Kingdom – Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Levenmouth and Rosyth
