Capella is an award-winning registered charity that runs a number of charitable services – Sleep Scotland and Teens+, with an overall purpose to achieve lasting change through learning. Sleep Scotland is the UK’s oldest sleep charity, established in 1998. The service is a leading provider of sleep support, training and resources in the UK. The service works with professionals, families and employers to promote healthy sleep for everyone. Teens+ stands for Transitional Education Extra Needs Support. The service helps people with additional support needs to thrive by providing tailored learning, life and social skills to help individuals find their way.

The charity recently won Employer of the Year at the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce awards 2023.

The role

Capella are searching for a Head of Corporate Services to add to their dynamic and values-led team. The successful candidate will be a part of the senior management team and head up the central support service of the organisation. As Capella go through a period of organisational change and subsequent growth, they are looking for a motivated leader to join Capella on their exciting journey as the organisation drives forward.

The successful candidate will work closely with the rest of the senior management team and the Board and lead the operational side of the organisation. They will also oversee key members of the team, providing support and leadership expertise. There is a large and exciting breadth to the role which responsibilities will include focus on marketing, operations and fundraising. The role will also involve leading the Digital Transformation Agenda and having responsibility for their Net Zero Agenda.
