The Learning & Development Manager will contribute to the successful delivery of the HR function, as a member the senior management team within the department, by playing a lead role in staff development, employee relations casework and organisational change.

Reporting to the Deputy HR Director, the role will take a lead role in the development of a range of organisational development activities and interventions to support structural and cultural change across GSA.  The role will also assist with the development of and lead on an annual Staff Development Plan, ensuring that this is aligned with the strategic direction and ambitions of GSA.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a senior HR role with a thorough understanding, knowledge and experience of OD best practice and staff development.  You will have demonstrable experience of leading organisational change initiatives and managing complex casework.  Experience of policy development and report writing is required and you will have the ability to apply knowledge and expertise in a range of contexts.
