Thank you for your interest in this vacancy with the ASET International Energy Training Academy.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative individual to lead the ASET board as Chair during an exciting period for the company and our region.

The business is a subsidiary of North East Scotland College (NESCol).

NESCol is one of the largest providers of vocational education and training in Scotland, delivering to more than 20,000 full-time, part-time, employed and distance learning students each year.

The College, with a turnover in excess of 50 million pounds, operates from its main Aberdeen Altens, Aberdeen City and Fraserburgh campuses as well as the Scottish Maritime Academy in Peterhead.

The ASET International Energy Training Academy is also an integral part of the NESCol family.

ASET provides a wide range of training for the energy, engineering and construction industries in areas including process, maintenance engineering, electrical, ex hazardous areas, emergency response and marine.

The chair of the ASET board drives the vital work of the company’s board and we are inviting applications from candidates with the skills to lead effectively and who shares the vision and values of our inclusive and progressive institution.
