About SQA
The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) is the national accreditation and awarding body in Scotland. We help people to realise their potential and to achieve their ambitions by providing a wide range of high quality, internationally recognised qualifications and associated services.
SQA works across the UK and internationally; supporting schools, colleges, universities and training organisations to develop and deliver our qualifications and assessments. Working together in partnership has never been more important than during the COVID-19 pandemic. At this challenging time, everyone at SQA remains committed to delivering for learners.
Our people take great pride in working with around 15,000 teaching professionals and industry specialists who support our operations each year. By living our values – trusted, progressive, enabling – every day what we do makes a difference.
