Aspen are delighted to be working with SRUC to recruit an Academic Director to join the Executive Leadership Team responsible for leading SRUC’s research and education portfolio. The post holder will be responsible for driving culture change through collaborative working across the ELT, including reviewing and (where appropriate) recommending new organisational structures. You will develop a close working relationship and have regular interaction with SAC Consulting to maximise the integration of SRUC’s strategic goals.

We are therefore looking for an individual with extensive leadership and management experience at a strategic level in research and higher education who is able to demonstrate a track record in developing Higher and Further Education. The successful candidate will have proven experience of successful interaction with senior external stakeholders from private, public or third sectors organisations and of interacting effectively with politicians, civil servants and industry representatives.
