Operating in communities throughout North East Scotland the Osprey Housing Group comprises Osprey Housing, Osprey Housing Moray and Osprey Initiatives Ltd. The Group provides a wide range of social and mid market affordable homes throughout the north east. Our stock is distributed in over 60 communities ranging from the City of Aberdeen to remote communities in the Cairngorm National Park. We are committed to providing great services to our tenants and have a strong and enduring relationship with Osprey Tenants and Residents Association. We have an ambitious development programme which will make a significant contribution to the More Homes strategy and provide services to a range of other housing providers who are active in the north east.

Due to the retirement of the current Chief Executive, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic leader to continue to drive forward and shape the organisation in the face of a continually challenging and changing environment.

Osprey is led by strong and committed Boards, which you will both report to and work in partnership with. You will be responsible for negotiating, managing and sustaining strategic and operational relationships with the Group’s key partners and stakeholders. The Chief Executive will be an innovative leader with vision and drive who is focused on realising and promoting the Group’s objectives to ensure that Osprey continues to be recognised as a key partner in the successful delivery of housing strategy throughout the North East of Scotland.

The successful candidate will have extensive senior management experience with a Registered Social Landlord or housing related organisation and leading an organisation through significant and extensive change. You will have a proven track record in leading customer focussed services and developing people, strategic planning and managing risk. You will have experience of leading investment and development programmes in the social housing sector. Knowledge of Scottish housing issues and legislation will be essential.
