As Finance Manager you will be responsible for creating management accounts, budgetary forecast and control, providing financial advice and support to clients and colleagues, and providing and interpreting financial information. You will manage a small team of finance assistants who will support
Key Responsibilities (Core)
Providing and interpreting financial information – Calibrating financial results with Operation results
Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk – Proactively controlling company’s cost flows, forecasting possible risks and proposing mitigation
Researching and alerting on factors influencing business performance
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Creating management accounts
Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
Managing company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
Analysing competitors and market trends
Coordinating and Managing budgets
Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
Coordination of external auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, accountants, bank clerks and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue
Arranging new sources of finance for a company’s debt facilities
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
Analysing change and advising accordingly
Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives
Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
Lead, manage and coach a team of finance assistants
Key Requirements
Essential
• Qualified on Business related studies (Degree, Master, CIMA, ACCA,ACA)
• 3+ years of experience within a financial based role, extensive financial and management reporting experience
• Experience of financial responsibility for a budget, including experience of account guidelines, end of year accounts, risk assessments and external liaison with auditors
• Proven administrative, leadership and management ability
• Basic understanding of acquisitions and valuations parameters
• Commercial awareness
• Technical, numeric and analytical skills
• Handling performance management processes
• High computer literacy with Excel as a special focus
Desirable
• Working experience in the UK Contact Centre Industry
• Proven experience analyzing change and identifying market trends
• Fluent Spanish language (writing and speaking)
