Manor Estates Housing Association is an Edinburgh based Housing Association with an aim of providing good quality housing and services which help improve people’s lives and benefit local communities.

The Organisation was formed in 1995 as the result of a stock transfer from Scottish Homes. A charitable organisation, it now provides 1015 affordable homes throughout Edinburgh and supports its customers through various services and initiatives. They have a dedicated staff team, focussed on providing excellent customer service and utilising resources intelligently. Manor Estates recently achieved IIP Gold accreditation, which reflects the culture and value of the organisation.

The Board is now looking for a new ambitious leader to take on the role of CEO.

The successful candidate will embrace Manor Estates’ aims and vision whilst delivering key objectives from the corporate plan. Edinburgh has unique challenges in relation to affordable housing and as CEO you will work with key stakeholders and partner organisations to tackle the issues and create new opportunities for the organisation and its tenants.

The newly appointed Chief Executive will possess excellent leadership and business management skills. To maximise resource and continue to deliver on the aims and corporate plan, the appointed candidate will have strong project management skills and experience of change management. A high level of understanding of housing, social policy, welfare and related subjects will be essential to take on this role.
