Thank you for your interest in joining Capability Scotland as our Finance Manager.
We’re a Scottish charity with operations from Dundee to Dumfries, from Edinburgh to Johnstone and everywhere in between. We provide care, support, and education to the disabled people of Scotland and pride ourselves on providing only the very best of care.
It’s a fantastic time to be joining Capability Scotland, as we enter a new stage of growth, developing and expanding our current services.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll lead the development and implementation of a new finance system and the preparation of our statutory accounts. You’ll ensure our processes are strengthened to support our ambitions. You’ll think outside of the box and be creative in your approach, ensuring the very best outcomes for our people, our customers, and our charity.
Your team will include our Finance Officers, and you’ll work closely with Finance Business Partners to increase financial awareness across Capability Scotland. You’ll also work closely with the Head of Finance in the run up to their retirement. As a member of our corporate services team in Edinburgh, you’ll have regular contact with HR, IT, Fundraising & Communications, Estates, Business Development, and service management from across the whole organisation.
